Building the canopy
04-09-2007 Canopy painted on inside, one layer to come.
Canopy testfit!!!! I glued the bubble with a 2 component PU glue. A few days later there was a litle accident when the bubble flipped over!! sh-----t!! The rope wich it hold open broke and the bubble flipped. There was a loud crack noise when over 0,5 meter the joint between buble and frame came loose between the hinges! No scatches or craks in the bubble itself. These bubles are realy strong!	Frame is ready! glueing to come. Before glueing the frame had to be mated to the bubble. This took several days of fitting and sanding.
This nutplate is inside the fuselage. The hinges can now taken of, wich is not possibe by using normal nuts.	Laminating the frame parts. I use the fuselage as mold.The canopie frame is made of  ash.
